Cities3D 0.9.1 now available

Cities3D 0.9.1 is now available for download. All rules related to Volcanoes have been completed, as well as a large number of bug fixes. In addition, Cities3D now uses the native windows styles for each OS (so it looks like a WinXP application on Windows XP).

I've decided to post front page announcements for each minor release leading up to 1.0, to encourage people to download new versions and help playtest them.

Follow the links on the Cities3D Project Homepage to see Release Notes, download the new version, and learn how to report bugs.

NOTE: You must uninstall any previous version of Cities3D, including removing player and game databases. If you don't do this, Cities3D 0.9.1 will crash on startup.

IMPORTANT: If you receive an error that says, "This application could not start because the configuration is not correct. Reinstalling the application could solve the problem", then you need to install the Visual C++ run-time package (2.6 MB) from Microsoft. Use this link to download and install the run-time.

This is working very crappy on my thinkpad t40p. It is working, but unplayable. OpenGL maybe troubling?

Hi "Programmers" of Cities3D.

One of the less nice features with Cities3D is that it crashes after replacing the robber (use "wining" knight to replace robber) if you place robber on a spot of your opponent, then miraculously the game crashes....

Hopefully this information helps for improvement of this very nice and beautiful game !!!

I had a problem at reading a site www.blogger.com.
Instead of normal letters at my monitor are some mad signs.
Do you, probably, have some kind of technical difficulties?
Do not prompt, with what it can be connected, and what I have to do to make letters readable instead of be hieroglyphs?

Hello~ Please Read:
I just downloaded this game on my new computer (which has windows vista ultimate). I have been having some problems with it.

1. When I try to trade with someone it doesn't show the whole trade box (screen) and you can't resize it. It only shows the cards I want to offer and get in return, the player I am trading with and the "Done" button, but it doesn't show the accept button. So I can never finish a trade. I have found a way around this... I click on the done button without releasing and then I press tab 6 times and it will accept. That is extremely annoying though.

I also have the same problem with the boxes (screens) not being the correct size for other things as well.

May I suggest a solution:
You could make all of those boxes resizable. That way if the problem is computer specific... it should take care of it. I would think...

Or does anyone else have a suggestion OR even a solution to the problem that I can do myself?
