Much like this site, the CitiesOnline site is dying. The server has been offline, but we still play by putting the application in server mode and having everyone connect.

If you're in the USA (and a night owl if you're on the East Coast), then you might want to go to the below post in the CitiesOnline forum to get on my email list. Games are scheduled at least once a week in the evenings.

ps - By the way, you'll need to register on the site to see the post or reply to it. Yes, I know this is a bit of work, but really there are no more options if you want to play CitiesOnline. At least the nice part about doing things this way is that you don't have to worry about playing with strange people you've never met before that might quit. Every game that starts is played to completion since we all know each other!

i lurk around here every so often, host a few games, then disappear. you can find me on AsoBrain (Jedman87), but im usually too busy to play anywhere. Anyone interested in setting up a regular scheduled game, PM me.
